To send Henry Dunbar off into retirement in style, Dunbar & Boardman staff
joined him in a fun company 'day off' at the Charlecote Pheasant Hotel near
Stratford Upon Avon in June.
Blessed with a glorious sunny day, everyone had fun tackling a number of
sporting pursuits - quad biking, clay pigeon shooting, air rifle target
shooting and archery. It soon became clear that while some excelled at
performing wheelies on quad bikes, they were less gifted at shooting things
- and vice versa!
At the end of the day's events, prizes were awarded for highest scores and
Henry ended on a high note walking off with the cup for best clay pigeon
score. We are told this was not a 'fix' and as Henry had brought his own gun
with him, no one was going to argue...
In the evening, everyone gathered for dinner and Henry was presented with
his leaving gift - a motorised golf caddy! Speeches were made, and there was
much fun and laughter into the wee small hours....
Many thanks to Debs for organising the event and a fond farewell to Henry -
here's to a 'sporting' retirement!
